It was quite rough, and needs the obvious things like music and sound effects (maybe some voices, not sure on your direction), and some of the animation needs to be smoothed out and some areas need a little more transition (when the fire is put out, for example) but not bad at all for the state it's in; it was quite an enjoyable flash and could see the final product going quite well.

It seemed to flow pretty good, but I would suggest that you bring the camera in closer for the dialogue portions. Maybe even voice acting/lip syncing if you can.
I'll vote 5 to protect this, because it's really not bad, but it just needs some work as far as the dialogue aspects are concerned. Other than that I felt it was pretty good.

It was pretty good, actually. It could have been a little more action packed, but for what it was it was good. Although the trench slimes looked like latex dildos with 3 vibrating ballsacks, they were well drawn and the colors were also pleasing to the eye.
There is some room for improvement, but all in all it was fine.

The intro was alright I suppose. The animation was poor but it was still entertaining. However when he got to 'releasing' the pokemon, he just sat there. With that same loop (I imagine it was, or a song with a far too redundant/long intro) and them just sitting there.
I'm assuming if you have any hopes of this making it through the portal you've got many friends voting 5 on this, otherwise good luck.

Thank you for your opinion, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this episode. I'll take the time to point out several facts you have omitted by chance or by choice in your review. First off, the song you labelled as "redundant" in your review is towerdefense's 'Some More Of This Love Affair', which currently has a score of 4.00+, deeming it quite successful rating-wise, ameliorating it's reputation still, with 16 downloads (at the moment). Secondly, you stated your doubts on this submission passing through the Flash Portal: "I'm assuming if you have any hopes of this making it through the portal you've got many friends voting 5 on this, otherwise good luck." this statement was contradicted simply by the events which took place, since I didn't even vote on this flash, nor did I encourage my friends who partake in Newgrounds related activity to "vote 5", quoting you once more, on it. On a final note, if you meant to name your Newgrounds account after the character from George Lucas' 'Star Wars' films, you misspelled "Chewbacca". It was short, pointless, and overall low quality. The graphics weren't too bad, but the voice acting was lack-luster.
I guess I agree with the guy who said it was bad and you told him "Hi! Your a noob, in case you don't know. You have no flash and no audio. So before you go criticizing people about their flash, maybe you should get up from the couch and make your own." Good thing I can state my opinion and not have to worry about being criticized for not making any flash.

At first I was ready to close it and give it a 2, but I decided to stick around. It was pretty well done for a sprite movie, although it could have been better, and it was a little bit humorous.
I guess the only thing I can suggest to improve upon if you haven't already seen as how this is from 2005, is to use different camera angles instead of the side-view all the time.

we are in a way remaking it some point later in the future oh thank you for your reveiw but the cam angles are like that throught the series but the sorry makes up for it.

This game was awesome. I was afraid it was just going to be another bejewled rip-off, but when you included the combat in there it really changed the pace of the game. It was frantic and fun, and the power-ups were well-spread out.
The graphics were great for this type of game, although some of it could have been better animated, it was nothing big.
Really fun game to play and challenge your quick thinking against.
